The school is open to advanced undergraduate, graduate and PhD students of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (TV), of the Lomonosov Moscow State University (LMSU), and of any other university.

To apply for participation, please send an e-mail to both the organizers

(Italian or Russian applicants may feel free to send one single mail, only to the respective connational organizing professor)

preferably within June 14 and not later than June 28, 2010, enclosing the following documents:

  1. 1)A scanned copy of a certificate showing the academic courses taken, with grades.

  2. 2)A scanned copy of a signed letter of recommendation.

  3. 3)A short CV and a detailed description of your main scientific interests.

  4. 4)A certificate of proficiency in English (note: a qualifying examination reported in the certificate in (1) or a declaration by the advising professor in (2), are enough).

The expenses for lodging for one student amount about to 150-200 euro, for each part of the school. Some scholarships and a number of free lodgings are available with priority for students of TV and LMSU universities. Scholarships will probably not cover travel expenses.

Note that an applicant is assumed to be one interested to attend both parts of the school, since the main courses will begin in Rome and will end in Moscow.

In any case, if you are interested to participate to only one part of the school, please specify this fact. The available lodging and the available scholarships will be assigned with priority to the standard applicants.

After the deadline June 28, on the basis of the quality of the applications and of the available lodgings a number of students will be admitted at the school and asked

via e-mail to confirm via e-mail their possibility to participate the school.

If anyone of the admitted students does not send such e-mail confirmation within the date July ... , then the organizers of the school will feel authorized to admit

another student in place of him/her.

In any case  a definitive list of school-participants must be ready within July... , so that there's time to prepare the necessary documentations for them.
