Title: Anabelian Geometry of Fundamental Groups in Positive Characteristic The talk will present results on the etale fundamental group of (mainly) curves over fields of positive characteristic. Unlike in characteristic 0 where this invariant does not change in families, it is a very subtle invariant in positive characteristic. For hyperbolic, nonisotrivial curves over a field finitely generated over its finite prime field the etale fundamental group determines the isomorphism type up to a possible twist by Frobenius.
