High rank elliptic curves over F_pbar(x).

Abstract:
It is known that there exist elliptic curves of arbitrarily high rank
over F_p(x). Tate and Shafarevich constructed such curves with constant
supersingular j-invariant. Ulmer constructed such curves with non-constant
j-invariant.
In this talk we will construct elliptic curves of arbitrarily high rank
over F_pbar(x) with constant ordinary j-invariant.
