Rieffel deformations and smooth tame generalized crossed products

| Abstract: |
Inspired by previous work by S. Brain, G. Landi and W. van Suijlekom, we
study functorial deformations based on actions of Abelian locally compact
groups. We use these deformations to give examples of smooth tame
generalized crossed products - whose cyclic cohomology fit within a
six-term exact sequence, similar to Pimsner-Voiculescu exact sequence in
K-theory.
