Title: Noncommutative Geometry, Grand Symmetry and Higgs mass
Abstract: In the context of the spectral action and the noncommutative approach to the standard model we describe some applications to the particle physics world. In particular we will present a model based on a larger symmetry that mixes gauge and spin degrees of freedom without introducing extra fermions; with this grand symmetry it is natural to obtain the Higgs mass in the vicinity of 126 GeV and solve the instabiliy problem. This larger symmetry, requiring the noncommutative space to be an almost commutative geometry, gives conditions for the breaking of this grand symmetry to the standard model.
