Astrodynamics European Network AstroNet-II

Each participant is required to reserve directly the hotel's room. The organization does NOT cover the hotel expenses and therefore the hotel must be paid directly by the participants.
We suggest to reserve a room at the hotel Archimede (4 stars) in via dei Mille 19, Roma (close to main train station, that is called Termini and is near to the center of the town). Some information about hotel Archimede is available here.
The price per person per night (including breakfast) is 40 euros in double room and 58 euros in single room (plus 3 Euros cash per day for the city tax).
People willing to reserve at the Archimede Hotel at the previous fare are requested to send a message to sebraeli@gmail.com, by mentioning "ASTRONET SCHOOL" in the subject of the e-mail.



The school will be held in some classroom of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Unfortunately, that university is so far from the center of the town that the travel by public transports requires about one hour, in normal circumstances.
In order to make more comfortable the participation, a bus daily service between the hotel Archimede and the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" will be available. Every participant willing to take the bus is kindly request to be on time, so to avoid delays of the program.



  • RESTAURANTS

It will be possible to have lunch in the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", because every day a couple of coffee breaks (morning-afternoon) and the lunch will be provided by a catering service.
It will not be possible to have dinner at hotel Archimede, but many restaurants are located nearby.
In particular, one could consider to have dinner at Ristorante Da Nazzareno (via Magenta, 33-35-37). As a result of an agreement with that restaurant, three different menus (whose the prices are 18 €, 25 € and 30 €, respectively) will be available for the participants to the "First AstroNet-II Training School". At that same restaurant Da Nazzareno a social dinner has been organized for wednesday 16th of january 2013. The fixed price for the full social dinner is 25,00 € per person. Unfortunately, the organization cannot cover that price for any participant to the "First AstroNet-II Training School".
