Statistical stability and entropy continuity for non-uniformly hyperbolic systems

ABSTRACT:

We consider non-uniformly hyperbolic maps which admit a "horseshoe" with integrable return times. It is well known that, under mild conditions, these maps have SRB measures. We give conditions so that a family of maps of this type is statistically stable (continuous variation of the SRB measures in the weak* topology) and the metric entropy with respect to the SRB measure varies continuously within the family.
