Structure and rigidity for Gaussian actions and their von Neumann algebras

In this talk, we study von Neumann algebras associated with Gaussian actions. We will first recall the
definition of Gaussian actions and will explain several structural results for their von Neumann algebras,
together with applications to ergodic theory. We shall compare all our results with former results on
Bernoulli actions.
