ARACNE2002:
3rd Workshop on Approximation and Randomization Algorithms in Communication NEtworks
(Rome, September, 21st, 2002).



ARACNE is a Research Training Network (contract HPRN-CT-1999-00112) funded by the Research Directorate-General of the European Commission. It has officially started in May 2000 and will end in 2003.

The ARACNE network consists of six research groups spread in Europe:

The main objective is to promote research in the design, analysis, and experimental test of novel methods that will allow to improve the efficient use of advanced networking technologies, with special emphasis on Optical Networks, Radio Networks and Satellite Systems. To this aim the project creates a network with six partners who have recognized expertise spanning the breadth of the domain described above.
